2019 NYS Blues Festival Lineup Announced
New York State Blues Festival is proud to announce the lineup for their 27th annual celebration June 27 – 29. New York City based artist Little Steven & The Disciples of Soul will headline the event with a Saturday night June 29 performance. Supporting acts that day include Chicago blues veteran Lurrie Bell, along with esteemed local artists Carolyn Kelly Blues Band, Ron Spencer Band and more. On Friday night June 28, guitarist Tommy Castro & The Painkillers headline the main stage along with Lil’ Ed & The Blues Imperials, Montreal based vocalist Dawn Tyler Watson, and from Rochester, NY local legend Joe Beard. This years festival will once again kick off on Thursday night June 27 with a headline set from the New Orleans group Dumpstaphunk. Several of the area’s finest local blues based groups round out the line-up.
This ADMISSION FREE event will once again be held in Syracuse’s Downtown Clinton Square.

Kerry MacHugh is a local freelance graphic designer and artist who specializes in typography, logo design, product packaging design, and web design. She graduated from Cazenovia College in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts, with a concentration on Visual Communication. Since then, she has worked with clients across the country on a wide variety of design projects, finding the most joy in jobs centered around music, the arts, and the beverage industry. It was Kerry’s work on event posters and labels for Critz Farms that brought her to the attention of the New York State Blues Festival. We are pleased to be working with her on our design for a second year as we look forward to 2019.
