The Neil Minet Band

The Neil Minet Band is a Syracuse, NY based rhythm and blues group that is a melting pot of influences old and new. The band combines classic blues, soul, and funk with contemporary R&B, roots, and Americana to make a sound that’s good for the soul.

The crew is led by guitarist and vocalist Neil Minet who brings the warm, driven guitar tones of his blues and soul upbringing along with the acoustic, fingerpicking styles from his delta and country blues roots. The group’s sound is rounded out by the punchy, melodic bass playing of Shane Patterson, the pocketed, syncopated drumming of Stephen Phillips, and the ever-creative organ and piano playing of Bill Barry.
