Rome, NY resident, Midnite Mike Grimaldi, is a local Blues Legend! Mike has opened for some of the greats like, BB King, Albert King, James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, & Luther Guitar Jr. Johnson. He has performed on stage with Joe Bonamassa, Jerry Portnoy, Ritchie Blackmore, & James Montgomery. You will never find another local blues/jazz artist that matches his passion & precision for guitar. His colorful career has found him performing not only in the USA but also in Italy, Germany, Austria, Portugal, Greenland, & Canada! You can classify Mike as an international recording artist with acoustic-solo material produced at Sondestrom Studios. Mike is very diverse in his musical tastes and styles and his vast repertoire includes, blues, jazz, classic rock, and R&B tunes. Mike can do a complete solo act as a one-man band, he can put together a duo/trio/quartet act for that full band effect! He has numerous musician friends he normally plays with that he fondly calls “The Bent Blinds”. They all sound great together! Mike is a crowd pleaser and likes to involve the audience in his performance. His talent, charisma, and appeal will have audiences coming back for more!
