The New York State Blues Festival proudly announces a return to downtown Syracuse for its 25th Anniversary celebration on July 7th and 8th, 2017.

Since its inaugural launch in 1992, this annual summertime festival has grown into the region’s premier musical destination. With the introduction of a bold new commemorative mark, the event’s organizers are getting an early start now to highlight and celebrate its silver anniversary in 2017. With a nod to the past and a vision for the future, the mark captures the true spirit and roots of the festival’s history and the heritage and promise of its music.

As a long-standing Central New York institution, the festival will remain a regional destination, featuring over 25 musical acts. The best in live blues music will continue at the festival’s traditional home base and comfortable con nes of Clinton Square in the heart of Syracuse, NY.

Organizers note that the musicians featured at the New York State Blues Fest have been recognized as the premier regional and international acts in the blues eld. Artists are drawn from a wide range of true blues and blues-in uenced genres, including roots, rock, jazz, R&B and world beat. Many artists from across the country will be joining the lineup between now and July 2017. Headliners will be announced in coming months.

Family-friendly and free to the public, the New York State Blues Festival invites all ages to enjoy great music, appetizing cuisine, libations and activities throughout the weekend. Shop among dozens of local vendors or have fun at popular destinations surrounding the event.
